Wooo-Hooo! I’m excited. I met two wonderful ladies at a Chamber of Commerce meeting, on Tuesday, and they asked me to be a committee member for the STL area Girls on the Run! I am super stoked, although a bit anxious as this year brings membership on the Education and Public Relations committees at the Realtor board, also. BAH! Talk about running! :) I feel as though this was divine intervention and am ever so grateful. Has anyone had any dealings with GOTR??

Brooksy noticed me, noticing this! He snatched that dryer sheet outta his sleeve and said,”At least we know my shirt is clean”; I added, “and soft”. :) We both belly laughed, he turned red and I snorted/cried! Good times! (We are in a Party Suite at a Cardinals game!)

After buying paint, paint brushes, paint rollers, roller extender stick, two ceiling fans, a rug, multiple curtain rods, curtains…well, y’all get the picture… Anyway, we need a cooler to store fridge stuff during transition. Brooksy said there was one at Lowe’s for $29. I said I was going back to Target to look at one I had seen. Lots of summer stuff on clearance for 50% off. Lady in aisle asked Target employee if coolers were 50%, too; lady said “No”. Annhhhh… Intuition kicked in. I scanned it and that sucker said FOURTEEN DOLLARS!! SOLD! I raced my cart like Mario Andretti (Work with me. I don’t watch Nascar, so I don’t know the current drivers. If you do, insert your favorite driver!) to find that other lady to tell her. She scooped one up, we gave each other a high five and parted ways. $14 ($15, if you count the Lowe’s $29 price) may not seem like a lot, but when you’re moving, 50¢ is A LOT!!! —-Cooler has wheels, extender handle and can holders on top! BAM!! :)

Tensions are rising around the house and move. :O That’s to be expected! Uncle JF was supposed to be finished with his work today and that just didn’t happen. Uncle JM has been gone awhile which has lifted some of the strain, but things are getting thick. We need to MOOOOVE! It’s HOT, Brooky’s been at the new house a lot and I’ve been working real estate like a bandit, then working at the house afterwards. It’s a struggle, but I am very grateful for the opportunity and the business. Just have to keep pulling myself out of the weary state and refrain from choking Brooksy! Laughing helps A LOT!!! :)
